How does the free trial work?
Download the app, sign in with Google, GitHub, or email, and create an org. The 30-day trial starts automatically, with no credit card. After the trial, Hosted Standard is $2/seat/month via Stripe.
Is it really that light?
Lightness is a core product value. We target near-0% idle CPU, a small memory footprint, and the bandwidth of a voice call. The client is Tauri + Canvas 2D (not Electron), and the server never relays audio (P2P).
Can I share my screen or make video calls?
Yes, in a 1:1 call: share your screen or turn on your camera for the other person. Hiroba does not offer group video meetings or recording. Keep your usual meeting tool for those.
Can I self-host instead?
Yes. The core is Apache-2.0 open source. You run the server (and TURN if needed) yourself, with no seat fee. Hosted adds Google, GitHub, and email sign-in, invites, managed infra, and the automatic trial. See the self-host guide on GitHub.
How does billing work on Standard?
Payments and invoices run through Stripe at $2/seat/month, based on registered org members. Seats can change monthly. Enterprise can arrange invoice or custom terms.
